Acquisitions in Legal Tech: Thomson & Relx

My father discusses what it is like to sell two companies and the many trials and tribulations that come with it. His first Acquisition was selling GSI to Thomson in 2005 which involved coming to terms with personal relationships and what it means to understand oneself as an entrepreneur. The second acquisition was Relx acquiring Intelligize in 2016. This was a slightly different process but the lessons still remained the same, just further in time. arecordofmyfather.com https://youtube.com/@a...

ADHD

We explore my relationship with ADHD and Adderall from my adolescence and how it has shaped me into the person I am today. We draw connections between how corporal punishment has disappeared in schools and has been replaced with drugs instead. Expectations for children are set too high with academic rigor being the measure of success, one of the greatest farces created in today's society. https://www.arecordofmyfather.com/ Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/48Dg8kSkYXtt3s13NnZMsa?si=c0be6c...

Public Speaking

We review what my father has learned from the thousands of speeches throughout his life. Public speaking can be scary but finding your inner voice and seeking your truth will yield a more comforting stage presence. Most importantly we talk about my project on the Snakehead fish from my public speaking class in community college. What it Means to Grow

On this weeks episode we talk about epiphanies that have helped my father define hia paths in life. His personal epiphanies were often tripped over and helped him discover what it was that he wanted to do vocationally but also socially.
